Different between Taliban & Pakistan
It is truly that we are realizing that the country is
in a state of war. Because it is now a state of emergency. The Taliban have now
started dictating to everyone on television and through television anchors. Their
strategy has changed. They are now targeting personalities, individuals and
media people directly. This to create fear and dread in order to achieve their
desired results. The talks offer by the Taliban and a powerful bomb blast close
to the GHQ at the same time is a clear message the Taliban are not serous and
are playing a joke on Pakistanis. There are now leaving them with no option but
to fight so why not fight. Why should they end up in a closed tunnel. The government
must leave aside everything else, their bickering, personal vendettas, self
aggrandizement, vindictiveness and extremist views or values. Why the Pakistani
must on hands on take the lead to differentiate between Pakistanism and
Talibanism. We must strengthen the hands on armed forces, security institutions
and law enforcement agencies to fully be able to fight the terrorists. Most of Pakistanis
are now still wandering in the wilderness as to who is right and who is wrong. This
is because our governments have not
performed well and we lack seriousness. We have not been able to bring
effective replacements in the post-operation areas. The media has not sensed
the situation of war and emergency, nor is it interested in creating awareness.
The state and government machinery are not doing their due to train and educate
people in dealing with terror situations
in times of emergency. It seems as if we are not even interested in
hunger, corruption, lawlessness and other ills. So we have to wake up and let
us discuss our problems, exposé the corrupt and somehow generate a situation
whereby we can save Pakistan from terrorist, extremists, sectarianism and the corrupt
ruling etc. For this purpose we have to come out from our homes, office,
schools against the corrupt ruler, government and corrupt democracy.
