2014 IS THE YEAR OF GAMES

First of all this year (2014) will begin with the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia where the best athletes from all over the world will take part. The grand event will be held  till the end of February 24. And a day  later, Asian giants Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka will also meet to fight in it in Asia Cup cricket which will also the feature host of Bangladesh.

Next event about games is Winter Paralympics games featuring athletes with disabilities will feature in the mega event which begins in Sochi Russia till March. In this month of march the ICC Men World Cup Twenty20 will also be held where the world’s top T20 teams will play each other for ultimate glory.

Third event of Hockey World Cup, the most prestigious hockey event in the world  will be taken place in The Hague, Netherlands in May and June. But unfortunately it is not feature the Pakistan side which failed to qualify for the first time.

The great event of Europe, FIFA World Cup event will be taken place from June to July, in this event, the world will gripped in FIFA fever as the best 32 teams of the world will battle it out for the FIFA World Cup trophy in Brazil.

Commonwealth Games, Scotland, Ten days later the commonwealth games will be taken place in Glasgow, Scotland, where the best athletes from the British colonies will participate and show their wonderful activities.

Champion Trophy Hockey will be played in India in coming December during this year 2014. India will be the host of the Champions Trophy Hockey.
